A little about me…

I spent the first half of my life hiding, being shy, and hoping not to be seen or noticed. I became a master at sensing the needs of others—reading energy and facial expressions— out of a subconscious need to prove I was valuable, and to keep myself safe.

I thought I was being helpful. In reality, I was sacrificing my life to buy a sense of self worth and belonging.

My health began to decline from the constant need to make everyone happy, I was referred to an IPT facilitator. In my first session, I felt a 30-year-old wall of composure finally melt away.

As I unpacked the stored emotions and the false beliefs that “no one wanted me” and I had to “earn my place,” The light bulb came on for me. In that session, in my mind, I saw one instance after another of me compensating for those beliefs. Watching that reel, it became very clear to me that I no longer wanted to live that way. I was willing to let go and find a new way. I immediately felt physically lighter. My childlike mind had made decisions about my value that simply weren’t true. I wasn’t a burden; I was wanted; I was enough and I was loved, no matter what I did.

After several more IPT sessions I felt like a new woman and promised myself I’d give others the opportunity to experience freedom from the old beliefs holding them back. 

I attended the Institute of Healing Arts and earned a facilitator’s certificate. I no longer feel unwanted and unloved and now, I am useful for all of the right reasons. I do this work out of love and passion. There is no greater honor for me than to serve others in this way, to hold space for their work and to lovingly guide them back to their own innate worth and value.
